For more than 30 years, "METALEX" has been one of the important drivers of the progress and growth of the country's and the region's metalworking and manufacturing sector, where industrial machinery and technologies play an important catalytic role. The showcasing in Thailand of technologies from around the world, new knowledge and business opportunities is good for the country and industry. This year's focus on nano metalworking underscores the importance of new technologies and innovation to business success.
METALEX 2019 kicked off from 20th – 23rd November creating a business opportunity platform for ASEAN’s metalworking industrialists through superior technology and showcased of metalworking technologies from 4,000 brands of leading providers from 50 countries and 9 international pavilions. A total of 100,475 visitors attended this show.
On the first day, HITACHI ASIA (THAILAND) CO., LTD. officially launched the booth at METALEX as well as a diverse range of smart solutions to empower Thailand and ASEAN’s industry. “With over 50 years of expertise in both manufacturing and IT, we are confident that our integrated technologies will increase value for customers in Thailand,” said Mr Akihiro Ohashi, Executive Director.
Our main concept is “Smart Factory” where ICE collaborated with ICT to showcase Energy Saving and Smart Maintenance for connecting to present solution. For energy saving, ICT presented their system with detail system for monitoring and collected data to connect to OT product known as Lumada insight which main purpose is enable factory visualization and collecting data in real time in expected area; H-Net is for energy consumption and CMMS is for maintenance support information for management.
In order to show the potential buyers on Smart maintenance that can support their production in an easy manner and convenience of use to the user. ICE displayed a new air compressor model: SRL-A7.5DV coupled with the use of an Amorphous motor and ICE air dryer. Also presenting inverter demo unit with special demonstration of built-in EZSQ programming function for sophisticated customized sequence control. On the other hand, comprehensive configuration like “Cascade” networking is also within our reach under this control logarithm. New generation of Hitachi inverter is IoT ready, so remote control and operation function can be fully utilized. Data Logging function is another enhancement, simply used USB/SD to safe keep your valuable data of machine running status, and it can be shared among Engineers for further analysis. We also featured IE3 and IE1 motor to compare the energy cost differences between these two models.
