New Oil Flooded Screw Compressor Release

Hitachi, Apr 2017 – Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. announced the launch of the new OSP Next2 series for South East Asia.

Features of OSP Next2 Series.

1 . Design
High ambient temperature of up to 45℃. The OSP Next2 Series new design, Lowered package pressure loss → improve cooling efficiency enable the compressor to operate at a high ambient environment temperature condition.

The OSP Next2 series is equipped with a 4.3” control color touch screen panel, which can access various information like operation info, data logging which can be exported out by USB memory, Modbus communication with Modbus RTU as a standard feature, Web server via. Bluetooth which is capable to check operation condition and to change setting at the compressor site.

2 . Prolong Maintenance Service

The oil change period of the OSP Next2 series is every 12,000 hours or 2 years, major overhaul of air-end every 48,000 hours or 8 years. Fixed speed model (22 & 37kW) equip with auto belt tensioner and v-belt replacement is every 2 years or 12,000 hours.

3 . Energy Saving Features

OSP Next2 series is equipped with energy-saving control function like ECOMODE, IPC mode (Fixed Speed Model), PQ wide, IPC mode (Inverter model) and auto start/stop function (Standard) for inverter and fixed speed model. For OSP Next2 fixed speed model, exhaust cooling fan is inverter control to achieve energy saving.

Adoption of energy-saving control function which is not found in other companies. (Intelligent Pressure Control)

• High ambient temperature is 45°C for all models.
• Equipped with Color touch panel and IT communication function as standard.
• New Dryer（New refrigerant, Improve high temperature resistance)
• Hitachi is the only company that have both single and 2 Stage Oil-free screw compressor for customer selection to meet their requirement

2 . Prolong Maintenance Service
Only perform major overhaul as a standard for all Oil-free screw compressor. Range based on 48,000 hours or 6 years.

3 . Energy Saving Features
DSP Next2 series is equipped with energy-saving control function like ECOMODE, IPC mode (Fixed Speed Model), PQ wide, IPC mode (Inverter model) and auto start/stop function (Standard) for inverter and fixed speed model. For DSP Next2 fixed speed model, exhaust cooling fan is inverter control and all DSP Next2 series fixed speed.

4 . Protection Accessories
Motorized Isolation valve (MIV) will come with all DSP Next2 Model (Invert or Fixed speed) compressor as standard accessory, to shut the valve automatically when compressor stop. The DSP Next2 series inter & after cooler drain valve is installed with auto drain valve to minimize air loss.

Screw compressor is a positive displacement type of air compressor which is able to compress air using high performance rotor. This type of compressor (11 to 37kW) can be used in many industries such as car service workshop, packaging companies, plastic molding companies being some of our customers.

For bigger capacity Screw compressors (55 to 160kW) the application is more for bus depot service workshop, cement companies, steel molding companies, die casting companies, precision industries, stamping machine industries.
