Marking its physical return after two virtual years, 100 Human Resources Personnel from Hitachi Group gathered in Bangkok for the annual Asia Human Capital Conference.
Held on 15 and 16 November 2022, the theme of ‘Keeping the Human Touch Alive’ was put into action as participants reconnected with each other via organised group activities and networking sessions.
Gracing the conference as the guest-of-honour were Hitachi Ltd., CHRO, General Manager of Human Capital Group, and Head of Corporate Communications, Mr. Nakahata Hidenobu and Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer, Mr. Imtiaz Shaik, who shared about Hitachi Group's HR Strategy and directions.

A key highlight of the event was the panel discussion with executives from Hitachi Asia (Thailand) Mr. Somsak Garnjanakarn, Chief Marketing Officer, and Mr. Kitichai Kongtong, Deputy GM of Energy Business Unit (EIPB). Joining them in the panel was Dr. Worawut Waruttamapornsu of Hitachi Energy (Thailand). The panel discussed on the topic of “How employees can synergize and become 'One Hitachi' in this journey” and provided participants with valuable insights on how different companies within the Hitachi Group can come together under a common group identity.
