MD Sasaki: Let’s push forward for MMP2024!

Dear Colleagues,

October is Hitachi’s Ethics and Compliance Month. I’d like to take this opportunity to reiterate the Hitachi Group’s commitment to doing business the right way so that we can continue to maintain and strengthen the trust that customers already have in us.

Coincidentally, October is also World Mental Health Month. While there is still a negative stigma associated with mental health in general, please feel free to approach your superiors and/or colleagues if you need someone to talk to. Remember that here in this big Hitachi family, you are never alone. We are ready to support you both personally and professionally, in every way possible. Everyone in Hitachi matters, you matter.

In Shimo 2023, we are officially at the halfway point of the Mid-term Management Plan 2024 (MMP 2024). A big thank you for all your hard work thus far! From here on, it is especially crucial that we actualise the “Growth Mode” in ASEAN and achieve our goal to further enhance our uniqueness.

One way to do so is Hitachi Asia’s office relocation by March 2024. As many of you know, this move will consolidate us into one office with open collaboration spaces. This move will vastly improve our brand perception and support employee productivity while offering flexibility at the same time. There will be an exciting Customer Experience Center showcasing Hitachi’s Solutions and this will help support the business units (BUs) and the various Hitachi Group Companies (GrCs).

My vision for Hitachi Asia remains - to be a strategic partner for BUs/GrCs and to grow together in the region. So, let’s continue to work towards achieving our goal particularly in the areas of Green, Digital and Innovation.
