A Big Thank You Hitachi Singapore!

Hitachi had the privilege of receiving the Community Chest (ComChest), Charity Gold Award at the Community Chest Awards Ceremony 2019 on 9 October. Held at the Istana, the ceremony was graced by Guest-of-Honour, Senior Parliamentary Secretary (SPS) Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim at the State Building. The annual award ceremony celebrates holistic giving through various awards and in more recent years, significant non-monetary contributions as well.

Since 1991, Hitachi has been receiving the ComChest Award. Annual donation from the Hitachi Group of Companies in Singapore to ComChest is tied with the Orchard Road Christmas Light-Up sponsorship where these funds are used to empower over 80 social service organisations. It is heartening to know that Hitachi has supported children with special needs, youths-at-risks, adults with disabilities, vulnerable seniors and built strong and resilient families.

So, a big thank you to all Hitachi Group of Companies in Singapore, for staying true to our company credo and giving selflessly to the society!
