On 17th September, Hitachi Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. together with Hitachi Energy (Thailand) Limited hosted the second Hitachi Kai in Thailand this year. As the second Hitachi Kai in FY2024, about 50 representatives and core staff from the Hitachi Group Companies in Thailand attended the session at Hitachi Energy’s Bangpoo Plant in Thailand.

As the co-host, Hitachi Energy (Thailand) Limited began the day with an introduction of the company, including an overview of its core values and future goals.
Guided tour at Hitachi Energy’s Bangpoo Plant
Following the introduction, attendees were taken on a guided tour of Hitachi Energy’s Bangpoo Plant production facilities. The tour allowed participants to witness the advanced technologies and processes of the Capacitor, Transformer and Automation/Control Protection system that Hitachi Energy employ to maintain its high standards of energy management.
HAS Corporate Strategy: Accelerating One Hitachi Synergy, led by Mr. Gerald Hane
Led by Mr. Gerald Hane, General Manager of Corporate Strategy and Sustainability Office, Hitachi Asia Ltd., the seminar began with a session on “HAS Corporate Strategy: Accelerating One Hitachi Synergy”. During this session, attendees gained invaluable insights on strategic planning and future plans, as well as some effective tools that can be applied to enhance corporate collaboration for long-term success.
Latest research on co-creation methodology and initiatives in Thailand, Mr. Yoshinobu Uchida
The second seminar was on “Co-creation to Solve Social/Customer Issues - Latest research on co-creation methodology and initiatives in Thailand”, where Mr. Yoshinobu Uchida, Chief Researcher of Research & Development Center, Hitachi Asia Ltd., introduced the potential of LUMADA and the many co-creation activities and services it can enable. This engaging session encouraged idea sharing and explored many different ways that LUMADA can address customers’ challenges.
