Hitachi, in collaboration with Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Home Team agencies Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX), are working together to develop an innovative smart watch to revolutionise the monitoring of trainees’ health and performance.
As one of the many new initiatives that are being experimented, the smart watch is set to objectively improve training and operation capabilities of law enforcement personnel. By utilizing Hitachi's extensive expertise and knowledge in sensor technology and data analysis, this collaboration project aims to establish a safer and more efficient training environment for the trainees.
Using smart watch technology to monitor trainees is a significant advancement in ensuring the safety and well-being of trainees. The smart watch, equipped with state-of-the-art sensors, provides instant access to vital signs, activity levels, and stress indicators. Trainers and leaders will be able to closely monitor the health and performance of their trainees by leveraging on the data collected by the smart watch, enabling them to intervene promptly to prevent potential health risks and optimize training protocols accordingly.
