Creating Solar-powered Rooftops for a Decarbonised Society

To achieve the goal of a decarbonised future, Hitachi Asia, Hitachi Energy, SANTEC and Mitsubishi HC Capital have collaborated on a project to encourage greater reliance on commercial solar power generation in Thailand.

Hitachi will offer solar power equipment to customers at zero initial cost, making it extremely easy for businesses to make the switch to greener energy. This equipment will also come with Hitachi Energy’s sophisticated battery energy storage system, which will allow customers to fully maximise the utilisation of the generated energy.

Hitachi and its partners will supply solar power generation equipment to businesses at zero initial investment costs.

This project is set to increase access to solar power for businesses across the nation. It will also serve as a strong demonstration of the viability of renewable energy for businesses.

Currently, plans are in place to expand this initiative to local and Japanese businesses within Thailand in the medium to long term.

Hitachi recognises the unprecedented challenge that global climate change presents modern society. This is why we continue to seek meaningful collaborations and offer innovative solutions that can create new environmental value for society. Through such decarbonisation efforts, we hope to contribute to a brighter, more sustainable future for those to come.
