Through this activity, Hitachi Asia showcased our corporate commitment towards joining Singapore in its national efforts to build the resilience of our community during this pandemic. At the same time, our participation highlights our commitment to support the nation’s green drive to reduce, reuse and recycle, as well as our corporate commitment to raise awareness for and achieve SDG Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.

On the corporate front, the Hitachi Group of Companies in Singapore that are participating in the Shell-Gasoline Program have also received an achievement of 454 Shell Carbon Credits*. This recognition shows our efforts towards cutting carbon emissions in our global carbon offset portfolio.
Together with our staff and vendors, we hope to achieve the Hitachi Environmental Vision of creating a low-carbon society which is resource-efficient and in harmony with nature.
*Note: A carbon credit represents the avoidance or removal of one tonne of carbon dioxide.
