In Hitachi's latest media collaboration with CNN themed "Future Cities: Singapore's 50th Anniversary", an on-ground event was held at the Red Dot Design Museum, Singapore on 24 June 2015 to complement Hitachi's sponsorship of CNN's "Future Cities" television series. Many key stakeholders in Singapore from both the private and government sectors were invited to grace this event. To celebrate Singapore's 50th national day, CNN International introduced a week of special coverage through the Future Cities segment. The coverage included five short episodes aired over five days across CNN's TV and digital platforms to highlight some of the upcoming major infrastructure projects for Singapore. The projects were namely: Singapore's Green Skyscrapers, Singapore's Oil Industry, Healthcare, and Singapore's plan for its Award-Winning Airport, as well as the city's Transportation System. Through the episodes, viewers were able to recognise Singapore's way of meeting the challenges of rapid urbanisation against a global landscape and examined city planning...

The Hitachi Innovation Forum 2014 Singapore (HIFS) was held on 18 & 19 November 2014 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. Themed “SOCIAL INNOVATION - IT'S OUR FUTURE: Empowering Business and Society with information”, the event showcased Hitachi’s Social Innovation in the global market through hosted exhibition, conference and seminars, presenting a wide range of services, systems and solutions that addressed challenges facing ASEAN cities and societies. This event marked the first time the Hitachi Innovation Forum was held out of Japan and in Southeast Asia, and celebrated Hitachi’s 50 years of presence in Singapore....
In an inaugural Managing Asia event on October 3, the first of two "Asia Builders" series was delivered with a live-shoot of events held at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS). This was done with the intent of being the convergent point for dynamic discussions between renowned architects, business leaders and experts shaping our cities. This multi-platform campaign was a regional sponsorship between CNBC and Hitachi entitled "Asia Builders", which was recorded through the on-ground event in front of a LIVE audience for the first time and broadcasted in two-parts on October 17 and 24 across CNBC's TV and digital platforms. The on-ground event attracted a total of 140 participants with more than half being C-level executives, and nearly 85% from the senior level management. Additionally, Hitachi's sponsorship included promotions that ran on CNBC Asia Pacific and digital entitlements on CNBC.com...
