Inspiring the World in 2020
The Inspiration of the Year Global Award (IYGA) is back for 2020! This award recognizes remarkable activities that contribute to enhancing Hitachi Brand's value by demonstrating the Hitachi Group Identity. In celebration of Hitachi’s 110th Anniversary, IYGA aims to nurture a "One Hitachi" mindset by sharing examples of activities that improve the Quality of Life and add values for customers through demonstrating Harmony, Sincerity, and Pioneering Spirit.

All activities and/or projects from April 2019 to March 2020 that demonstrate the Hitachi Group Identity and contribute to create a vibrant society/workplace can be entered. For this year, we will also accept activities that have contributed to society by dealing with COVID-19*. The entries will be evaluated based on the most important elements of the Hitachi Group Identity:
Harmony, Sincerity, Pioneering Spirit and Fulfill the Vision.
*Regarding activities that have contributed to the society by dealing with COVID-19, not only the activities during FY2019, but also the activities conducted during FY2020 up to the application deadline (by August 12th) are eligible for entry.
All Hitachi Group employees (included subsidiaries) are highly encouraged to submit your entries. Grand Prix Winners will get to attend a 3-day Brand Ambassador Program in Japan and receive a commemorative plaque from President and CEO of Hitachi, Ltd. Mr. Toshiaki Higashihara.
